Beef Wraps Party Style Recipe
A Flavorful recipe for Barbecue beef wraps, Served in glasses for a fun party style.
2 lb Beef steak, cut into strips
8 small tortilla wraps
2 stalks celery
1 medium cucumber
1 tomato, halved and sliced
3 lettuce leaves, halved
1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cups tomato sauce
1/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 cups red wine vinegar
1/8 cup molasses
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
To make the barbecue sauce. In a large saucepan over medium heat, mix together the ketchup, tomato sauce, brown sugar, wine vinegar, molasses.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, celery seed, cinnamon, cayenne, salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 minutes. Refridgerate unused portion.
Heat Grilling pan to medium-hot heat.
Grill steak strips brushing frequently with barbecue sauce and turning half way through cooking.
Cook to medium-well doneness 5-8 minutes.
Wash and slice vegetables into long thin strips
Prepare wraps with lettuce, celery, cucumber and tomato.
Spoon meat onto tortillas,
Roll up to serve.
