Homemade Popsicles Recipe
Make your own homemade popsicles for the kids. This is a healthy alternative to feeding them frozen treats that are filled with artificial colors and flavors.
4 cups fresh or frozen raspberries (or fruit of your choice)
1 1/3 cups nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup water
1 cup ice cube
3 Tablespoons sugar ( or to taste)
2-3 bananas, mashed
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons liquid honey
Place all ingredients in blender, cover and blend until smooth.
Place the banana, cream and honey in a blender and blend until smooth.
Alternate layers of fruit and banana when making the popsicles. If not using a mould that has a built in stick, then place plastic wrap on top of the popsicles and poke the popsicle stick through in the centers of each popsicle. The plastic paper will hold the stick in place while the popsicles are freezing.
Freeze at least 4 hours or until frozen through
